Christoni Travel invites you to a special three-day trip to Kosovo, a destination where history, tradition, religious heritage, and modern Balkan life coexist. From Pristina and the historic Gračanica Monastery to picturesque Prizren, the excursion offers a comprehensive introduction to a unique Balkan destination.
Day 1: Larissa – Pristina – Gračanica Monastery
Early morning departure at 06:00 from the Larissa Conservatory, heading towards Kosovo. After crossing the Evzoni border and making the customary stop at the Duty-Free shops, we continue our journey through North Macedonia, passing the Skopje area, until we reach the Kosovo border.
Arrival in Pristina, hotel check-in, and a tour of the capital. We will visit key landmarks such as the Cathedral of Saint Mother Teresa, the National Library of Kosovo, and the central Mother Teresa pedestrian boulevard, home to various restaurants, cafes, and shops.
Afterwards, we depart for the Gračanica Monastery, located approximately 10 kilometers south of Pristina. The medieval monastery, built in 1321, is one of the region's most significant monuments and a characteristic example of the Serbian Byzantine tradition.
Return to Pristina and free time for an evening stroll through the city.

Day 2: Western Kosovo – Dečani – Patriarchate of Peć – White Drin Waterfalls – Peja – Prizren
After breakfast, we depart for western Kosovo, taking a route that combines historical monuments with natural landscapes.
Our first stop is the imposing Dečani Monastery—one of the most important Orthodox monasteries in the Balkans and a UNESCO World Heritage Site—renowned for its architecture and Byzantine frescoes.
We continue to the Patriarchate of Peć, the historic spiritual seat of the Serbian Orthodox Church, situated in a stunning natural setting at the foot of the mountains.
Next, we visit the impressive White Drin Waterfalls, set amidst a lush green landscape. We will have time for a walk, photos, and lunch at local restaurants, where we can sample regional flavors. Next, we visit Peja, one of Kosovo’s most vibrant and traditional cities, where we will have time for coffee and a chance to experience the city's daily life.
In the late afternoon, we depart for Prizren, where we will check into our hotel and have free time for an initial stroll through the historic center.

Day 3: Prizren – Larissa
After breakfast, we will take a guided tour of Prizren, one of Kosovo’s most distinctive and historic cities.
Built along the banks of the Bistrica River and beneath a medieval castle, Prizren blends diverse cultural and architectural influences. We will wander through cobblestone alleys and admire the Ottoman-style mansions, churches, mosques, and traditional bridges that create the city's unique atmosphere.
We will have free time for lunch by the river at one of the area's picturesque restaurants before beginning our return journey to Larissa.
